Since your trailer is parked "out back" then use the "Rat and Mouse Glue 
Traps" by JT Eaton or any other reputable brand.  Check them once or twice a 
week.  They use no springs, no snaps and are non-poisonous.  I put 3 in my 
trailer and check them often.  While hunting last year, I acquired a mouse 
during the night but had him by 4 a.m. the next morning.  The more they 
struggle, the more the rest of the body gets stuck in the trap.  Just pick 
it up with rubber gloves and dump it in the trash.  I usually hit the 
mouse's head with a 2 X 4 to prevent needless suffering (don't turn me in to 
PETA).
