Bill,

I just spent an hour on the web trying to get a copy of the regulation 58
from NFPA so that I could quote and send you the paragraph that the
folks have used with my tanks as they refilled them. To the best of my
recollection the exclusions included the horizontal tanks, the tanks
for welding/cutting and those tanks with special valves that do not have
direct replacements available to the dealers. I wish I could give you
better information, but I did read that section about a year ago and
I still do not have any problems with the two companies I use locally
to fill my aluminum tanks with wire connections on them.
