RE: [A/S] brake controllers

Hi Chris,
It is getting hard to make a recommendation on this list without lighting
off all the flame throwers, but here goes my two cents worth.
I would recommend one of the proportional type brake controllers that are
available. I have used three different types of all electronic controllers,
two different types of old hydraulic proportional controllers, and surge
brake controllers over my 30+ years of towing to come to my conclusions. Of
the three current day proportional controllers I have experience with, two
are tied into your hydraulic brake system on the tow vehicle and are made by
the same company, and marketed by them and another very controversial hitch
company. The other proportional controller is tied into your tow vehicle by
attaching a small wire cable to your brake peddle.
I will stop my reco at that point, and offer more by way of a privet e-mail
