We have found a product called FLITZ that is used to polish fiberglass, 
metal, and some ceramics.  We had some rough spots in a fiberglass bath lavatory 
and polished the bad spots with FLITZ  using a polish wheel on a Dremal tool.  
The results were good.  Still need to do some more work  and a little hand 
polish to finish it up.  FLITZ is used by a lot of antique dealers to polish
