We have used this same step with 2 different trailers and will 
probably hang on to it if we ever "upgrade" again... It is fairly easy 
to travel with the step, just set it on the kitchen floor and when you 
open the door, reach in and take it out.  We seldom bother to fold up 
the legs...

Very stable and well made...
