I have no HVAC credentials, but I do not believe you will get an 
extra 2000 Btus of benefit out of your proposed setup.  Your 
evaporator & condensor coils were sized based on the compressor, as 
well as the fan motor: it has to push the air through the coils.  
Your coils will not be able to accomodate the energy.

Although I do not think you would hurt anything, I can not see an 
actual benefit either.  I am curious to see if anyone with good HVAC 
credentials catches this post, and responds with a more positive 
outlook.
