[A/S] Radial vs Bias ply Tires

Actually, I prefer radial tires for the very reasons you folks say 
you dislike them.  I want a lower profile; it sets the trailer lower 
resulting in a lower center of gravity and lower profile (pushes less 
air).  As to people complaining of radials throwing sidewalls that 
has always been a puzzle to me.  No tire just all of a sudden gives 
up the ghost in 50 nanoseconds – BLOOEY.  If a person is maintaining 
their tires properly (constantly checking tire pressures, checking 
the sidewalls, feeling for heat buildup occasionally, etc. etc. it 
should be obvious that the tire is starting to "give out" long before 
the tire disintegrates.
