[A/S] Central vacuum question

I have a 1979 31' International and understand that a central vacuum 
system was optional.

Just wondering if anyone knows where it would have been installed and 
how power would be supplied to it.  I've toyed with the idea of 
installing one and would at least like to have it in the factory 
location.

Right now, the best location looks like inside the angled portion of 
the credenza/TV stand.  Outlet for power is inside the cabinet and 
the vac could be exhausted thru the bulkhead and onto the refer 
compartment.

Any comments welcome from people who have, or have had cental vac 
systems welcome, as to whetehr or not they are worth the expense.
