Hi Doug,

After seeing Mike's nifty telescoping ladder I bought one for easy roof 
access.  I just lean it against the awning rail and climb up on the roof when the 
spirit moves me.  I do put something soft between the aluminum ladder and the 
aluminum roof.... a towel or pillow.

Once up there I feel free to wander around cleaning or fixing stuff.

I do try to step on the ribs though...
