Hi Dick, It's correct. The guy came with a digital meter and mine was the same. I shut off the fridge..... unplugged everything I could think of and ran the air. I'll have to wait and see about long term damage. The numbers are up now and the a/c is running fine. I'm heading out tomorrow........... Hunter
