If it is under the countertop in a recessed area then it is to turn on a 
receptacle that the vacuum cleaner is plugged into.  My vacuum cleaner 
cannister is mounted in the rear compartment and the suction area of the 
vacuum sticks through a hole between the commode and the bathtub.  If you 
have the rear compartment, open it up, stick your head inside and look up to 
your right next to the outside skin of the trailer.  You should see the 
mounted electrical receptacle.
