Jim,

I bought a Powermover.  Let me share my experience
with you.

First.  Be sure that if they say you have to clamp
something onto the frame between the front bulkhead
and the hitch that they are aware of the length as
well as there is a propane unit mounted there.  These
people seem to sell mostly to boat owners whose
trailer frame has ample room for this attachment. 
Between my sway bar hook-ups and the propane box, I
don't have enough room to mount anything else.  The
mount would be too close to the bulkhead, and you
could not maneuver the "mover" safely.

Second.  If they are going to sell you a ball mounting
unit you need to make sure they are very aware of the
weight of your trailer.  I had the ball unit and was
able to use it on my 31' AS.  The "mover" I had in
theory was supposed to be able to move rigs up to 12k
pounds.  When I got my 34' AS it was a completely
different experience.  The "mover" could not handle
the additional weight with the ball mount, and it
snapped off at the ball while I was trying to park my
new trailer for the very first time.  Very scary!

Last.  Make sure you get complete, detailed, written
instructions and a WRITTEN WARRANTY.  I didn't receive
any of these.  Now I have this thing parked in my
garage, and the Company will not take it back.

I do not think what I have would work on gravel, but
it will work on asphalt - on rigs that weigh less than
8k pounds.  If anyone is interested I'll make them a
great deal on it.
