[A/S] Help! Have you seen my dump valve cap?

Somewhere beteen The Villages, Florida and Lewes, Delaware I lost the cap 
that covers the dump outlet on my 1987 Airstream. The one I had had an outlet 
built in for attaching a garden hose and was used for dumping grey water.  
I went to the Airstream dealer in Smyrna, Delaware and was told by the parts 
department  that they don't have them and it sounded like I couldn't get that 
size cap either (maybe they just wanted to sell me a new Airstream?).  
Is there anyone on this list who knows more than my local Airstream dealer?  
I'd hate to have to go looking for that thing along I-95 and all the other 
roads I've traversed. LOL!
