Hunter - I've also had friends who lost generators to thieves. Wally World
has nice steel cords with loops at the ends, and nice locks (key or
combination) and they are really easy to loop thru some where on the gen set
and thru the lock-down loop dealies in your truck bed. I've seen folks keep
their petrol in the small plastic gas cans, also bungied down in the truck
bed. But stolen generators is evidently a big deal here in Texas - the
police routinely run busts on the hock shops and always find stolen
generators for sale.
