My trailer sits alot of the winter... but I do pull it about once every month 
or so.... in the summer every few days.

I get them packed every spring before I hit the road... have an appointment 
with Walt in about 10 days.

I have no idea if it needs it or not...... but I feel better doing it.  I 
also have the truck's oil changed every 3,000 miles.... more often than I have 
to, for the same reason. 

Interestingly my owner's manual just tells how to repack the wheel bearings, 
it says nothing about the frequency.
