Re: [A/S] Re: Argosy '79 for sale $6000

I was told in earlier AirstreamList's (when condition excellent) to run it
for $8000 and take $7500.
I am an Argosy fan, I have read all the PR about them getting very
collectable. I even have a Wally hat and was looking for an antique badge. I will
tote it to Louisiana and use it myself as soon as I clear  out my storage area;
if I have too. I have big dollhouses, doll paintings and furniture (I made)
and I would like to live with them: The only reason I am selling the trailer.
I have read in similar Airstream pages that any Argosy that can be pulled
out of a lot somewhere is worth $5000 or $6000 depending on what is working? I
kept them.
Mine needs some fiberglass on the AC cover (or a replacement/this week
hopefully) and I am trying to find a GE box, 20 amp breaker that feeds the bath
and refrigerator. The flooring in the kitchen and bath will be a small job. It
does need a new toilet someday. I made any repairs when needed.
I paid $4000 cash to people who had decided to take home to Canada, the
owner of the park wiped out their extra money with water charges, etc., hoping to
buy it cheap. They rent them out here.
I will have pictures in three places on the web and will listen to any
offers the second Wed. of every month.
Times are hard, but I am not doing the 'how low can you go' dance yet.
A really do appreciate your and everyone's advice.
