I think that is plenty big enough for anything Airstream builds.

I had a 454 (7.4 liter) surburban with 4.10 rear end and pulled my 31' A/S all over 
California, the Rockies (US & Canada) and into the hills of Missouri and Arkansas with no 
trouble.  There are others on this list with recent experience with the 8.0 engine who 
will no doubt add their input.
