The only time I have ever seen the blue berets worn was by officers 
at rally functions. NEVER on the 10-12 caravans we have taken. I only 
joined in '95, though.

At many rallies I have seen temporary "stores" set up where members 
can buy little club thingies (badge holders, pins, etc.), but I don't 
recall EVER seeing the blue beret hats for sale.

Perhaps officers have to special order them.

An aside: On the current WBCCI stationary, the letterhead has the 
round WBCCI logo with Wally's likeness  on the left side, but the 
words "the AIRSTREAM RV Association" are much more prominent and take 
up most of the letterhead just to the right of that logo - makes me 
wonder - are we in the process of changing the name? Might even be a 
good thing - whenever I talk with an "outsider" about the club I get 
blank stares until I explain it is the Airstream Camper club. We are 
the only ones who know who Wally is.
