Re: [A/S] Leveling w/Slide out

Dan,
I believe that slide outs on any trailer require you
to be a little more precise in leveling and support.
Quite honestly the slide on the Airstream is very
modest in its extension. My dealer's first words to
me on the day I picked up the trailer was to be sure
to have the stabilizers down before I extended the
slide and leave then down until I retract the slide.
I haven't forgotten that and I honestly believe that
I'll get many years of trouble free service.

I've know folks without slides who torqued their
Airstream's so badly with the stabilizers that the
door wouldn't close properly. Its just a matter of
doing things right.
