That is good news. Just befor3e we got our Airstream we bought a futon mattress for a full bed, and of course it is too wide for the gaucho bed. How did you do this exactly. Our mattress is about 8 inches thick. Just cut it open with a knife then remove enough of the inside to make it the right width? Ann
