Although I don't have a GPS devise for personal driving use, I do use the
GPS "Never Lost" system with Hertz Renal cars on business travel. The voice
feature is great, once you have your destination set the unit provides
verbal reminders  prior to upcoming turns and lane or street changes.

The laptop version looks pretty good and the price at around $130 is not bad
either.
