A headset for a walkman is illegal, and I've known of people getting tickets
for them.  If you had a headset hooked up to a laptop you might have a hard
time convincing a GSP officer that you were not listening to a music CD.  I
think that GA wants you to be able to hear sirens and horns and other noises
outside your vehicle, and not have your hearing blocked.  I don't know that
they make a distinction on what the headset is for.
