Re: DeLorme mapping/gps systems.  I'd never venture into a strange area
without it.  A feature that I really enjoy is the voice direction.

My laptop sits on a vented cushion (keeps it from shifting) on the center
console.

It's been working for me for years.

When a thruway is blocked for one reason or another, it only takes a sec to
peek up to the next exit and re-route.  The DeLorme maps show every little
pig-trail in the USA.
