I love the two lane blacktops.  Still want to take US 50 coast-to-coast.
Some of the north-south highways in the West are great also, US 93, 95, 89.
Back before Interstates I have taken US 30 for great distances but never
end-to-end.  US 6 also has possibilities for my future.  Too bad you're not
taking your US 36 trip in June.  Saint Francis, Kansas always has the
Stearman Fly-in the second weekend in June.
