[A/S] Dithering
Ive got a 76 29ft Streamer that I love, but....I was widowed four
years ago and tho Ive hitched and hauled her on my own in the
Northeast, I quaver at the notion to trying to take her out to places
we loved in the West...particularly down in New Mexico etc...Going it
alone on a long distance trek without a partner and little mechanical
skill, except the basics of caring for the 86 suburban that hauls her
leaves me unstrung. So she has sat this past year while I
dither..What's the general opinion of women hitting the road alone..Im
70, have travelled the world and am still with it, but worried about
the extended loneliness away from friends as well as potential
mechanical difficulties. Is there an airstream group I should join
for company or what? Iknow about the WallyByums, but that seems so
large an organization that unless it has subsections for older singles
like me, it might not offer an answer. I read Patti Raimond's letter
and decided she was doing it solo so.... Please send comments. Azzaz2
