Tom,

When I moved from Connecticut to Cincinnati I had two Siamese cats. The vets 
gave them something to calm them before the long drive...... the biggest 
mistake ever. One went ballistic.... it had the opposite reaction than expected.  

He turned into a vicious snarling wildcat......

I'd never make that mistake again.

I don't feed these cats the morning of a trip... that and lots of miles under 
their belts have made them great travelers.
