We are staying at The Ranch, an Escapees co-op park near Carlsbad, 
NM.  They have gone wireless here!
They charge $10/week and loan you a WiFi card if you don't have one.  I 
just had to try it even though the cell phone
works fine here.  The speed is about 2 orders of magnitude faster than the 
cell phone.  It connects every time you turn
on the computer, and we don't have to wait until after 9:00 PM.

I think this is the wave of the future!  I will buy my own card 
eventually.  The downside:  $40/month + $30/month for
Earthlink = $70 or about $840/year!  Lets hope the cost comes down as 
availability increases.

As a side note: I haven't forgotten about posting the results of shimming 
the hitch receiver, but we are setting still at the
present time, so no new information yet.  And I have been using a Jordan 
brake controller for over a year and I'm very
happy with it.  BTW, I turn the sensitivity way down when backing the 
trailer into a campsite.  It's eraser to make delicate
movements that way.
