To make the battery slide out easy. Get you a pack of the Easy Glides, 
found at most home improvement stores and others. Them you can apply self 
adhesive tape to them and stick them bottom side up in the battery 
compartment, note...if you stick them to the battery you will be buying 
more when you replace the battery, or you can remove them and apply to new 
battery, easier to just mount in battery compartment and leave them. The 
glides are available in 4 or 8 to a pack, get the 8 pack and make 2 lines 
in the compartment, that way you can have a fairly even track to slide the 
battery on.
