Re: [A/S] Campgrounds and Batteries
I take it that the carrying straps are gone from your batteries. Most RV
batteries now come with a plastic carrying strap, that stays on the battery.
You just grab the strap and lift -- and hopefully don't "pull" a back
muscle. Those batteries can be HEAVY.
If you don't have the straps, you should be able to borrow or buy straps
that attach to the terminals. Put the holes in the strap-ends over each
battery terminal, screw down the wing-nuts over the strap, and lift. If
your batteries have the terminals on the same side of the battery they will
tilt, but you should be able to get them out anyway. If your terminals are
diagonally on opposite ends of the battery, it should lift straight out.
