Hi David, I wouldn't do it. I'm pulling 7400# with an F-250 long wheelbase truck. Most people like to go a little lower like 80% of the tow rating, especially with a shorter wheelbase vehicle. I wouldn't like it when an 18 wheeler blows by at 80 mph ..... I don't think you'll like it much either. Hunter
