Hi Tim,

I'm thinking you are in California. Instead of leaping into a big 7,000 mile 
trip, resulting in your kids hate riding in the truck, I'd stay closer. There 
are so many amazing things to see out west. You've seen Yosemite... good 
start.  

The Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, Cody Wyoming loop for example. What about 
Colorado! 

The two year old won't appreciate Florida yet...... if you want beaches you 
have California.

Lots of people do the trip you are thinking about, but I recommend you take 
more time, you don't want the USA going by the truck window in a blur.
