Funny.... a similar thing happened to me.  When I got my trailer it had the 
cheapest looking shiny gold hardware on the cabinets.  They were terrible.

So, I got all new hardware.... cabinet pulls. Without counting about 25.

Then, two years later I'm at an Airstream rally and about dropped when I saw 
the new trailers had the same pulls!!! Of all the pulls in the whole world, 
they had mine.

I'm about ready to change mine again. I saw some pewter looking ones I like 
alot more than the brass look..... I actually found the ones I want but the 
holes are 3.75 inches apart and mine at 3".  I don't think I want to get into 
drilling tw new holes on every cabinet and filling the old ones.
