The recommended pressures on the sidewall or in the owners manual are 
always cold. The biggest cause of premature tire failure is under 
inflation. Under inflation causes excessive heat build up and added 
stress to the sidewalls.

 If you want your tires to last, regardless of brand or application you 
MUST maintain the proper pressure. While check the pressure you should 
also be checking the tread for signs of problems, such as uneven wear, 
scalloping, cracking, etc.
