[A/S] Tire blow out

I've had the same experience with Goodyear Marathons on my 2001 
Excella 30' coach.  I've had two of them spring leaks and one that 
developed a large bubble on the edge of the tread.  Discount Tires 
diagnosed each of them as having tread separation and I got a $69.00 
adjustment on each tire and bought new Marathons.  I also 
experienced sudden uneven wear occurring on two of these tires.
All of them came new on the trailer and were manufactured in Canada 
in March of 2000.

I am pretty disappointed in the Marathons although I've heard they 
are good tires.  I'll let this second set decide whether to buy more 
in the future.

One other point is to regularly make sure the air pressure is at 60 
lbs.  I've been checking more frequently and discovered they can 
lose 10 to 15 lbs of air in a fairly short period of time.

Don't forget to re-torque the lug nuts every 500 miles or so!  They 
seem to back off from vibration on the road.  Last- have the wheels 
balanced when installing new tires.
