Hi Patti,

You will get better mileage with the diesel, but chances are you will never 
break even for the extra cost of buying and maintaining a diesel. 

That said, I wouldn't trade my diesel for anything.... especially after 
dropping $2600.00 on it yesterday in the transmission shop )c:

People who have diesels pretty much love them, but we know they don't save us 
money.... it's about the torque.
