Hi George. About the suspension. Many of todays trucks have a higher 
profile and when 5th wheels are hooked up they are being pulled "up 
hill" That's a no no. It must be towed flat. If not, first damage can 
occur to the axles and of course it will ride badly. They do back 
differently than a bumper hitch. They can be turned at more than 90 
degrees when backing. A real plus when parking in a tight space. Most 
people love it. But you are right, it takes some getting used to. It 
is a heavier trailer and will take more power to pull, but then you 
have a great deal more trailer. I think you will like it after a bit.
