I've noticed that with rugs and just nailed them to the subfloor....and not walked barefoot to find the nailheads. done this in several homes. the nap of the weave causes it to only go one way so only one side has to be nailed down. I'll teach that darn carpet to creep where I don't want it!!! Lexxy in Ga
