FortunatelyPeg...

I would be very careful if removing the air conditioner shroud. They 
become very brittle after years of UV exposure and can break very 
easily.  I found this out the hard way, when I took my shroud off to 
clean the junk out from behind the shroud. Fortunaley I was able to save 
mine for this year with a little bit of epoxy. I will be replacing it 
next year.
