It was not difficult to install. Preparing a level subfloor was the 
hardest.  In retrospect, I don't think I would obsess about it as much 
as it did. Homeowners getting a professional installation might object 
to the odd bump, but everything moves in a trailer, so a perfectly flat 
floor is probably not possible.

The second hardest thing was trimming the curved edges and around the 
funiture. But since you can cut it easily with good scissors, it just 
takes time and patience. I did about a 4 foot square at a time, first 
the full tiles and then the edges, using latex based contact cement. 
Then I used a matching color latex caulking in the corners and where I 
didn't butt the seams perfectly.

The floor is tough. I built the new dinette right on it, drop tools, 
food etc. The only thing that had bothered it is spilled rubbing 
alchohol. The part I wiped up immediatly was fine, but some crept under 
a lamp and bubbled the finish. A quick swipe with sandpaper and some 
more  poly urethane (also water based ) and it looks good as new. It 
even looks good when it's dirty !
