[A/S] Re: Tow vehicle for 28' Classic

Hunter

Thanks for replying...Let me give some more info.

We live in Atlanta. Would be taking trailer points south or
locally. Probably a couple of trips to mtns in TN/GA a year.

Seeing as we can only use the tt right now on weekends, there are no
Rocky Mtn trips any time soon (at least not with the next truck's
lifecycle anyway). Maybe a little travel on the east coast, but
thats about it.

I dont want to make a bad decision. When we bought our current TT,
we were limited by our tow vehicle's towing capacity (5000 lb). We
have a lightweight hybrid and it does fine most of the time except on
really steep grades (which we have only done one time on the way to
Gatlinburg). For our next tow vehicle, towing power is a huge
consideration because we dont want to be limited. It seems to me
that 9500 lbs is a huge step up. What is considered a 3/4 ton truck?
Is that like the 2500 Chevys and the F250's?
