Re: [A/S] Prepaid Towing services

Chuck,

I had Good Sam for years. I had to use it once
outside of Flagstaff, AZ. We were at a national park,
without the trailer, and it was pushing 100. They
were courteous and assured me the tow would be prompt.
The tow arrived about 90 min latter from town - about
a 75 mile trip. He loaded the truck onto his and off
we went. He stopped and dropped my wife and dog at
the trailer and then took me to a great repair
facility. My wife used it at home when she had a flat
- same good experience.

Last year, I had a brain dump and tried Foremost's
towing service. It only covers the tow vehicle and
trailer, and there is a mileage limit attached. I'm
renewing my Foremost insurance policy sans towing this
time out.

I am going back to Good Sam. The cost isn't that much
more, all my vehicles are covered, and there is no
mileage restriction.

That's my experience with towing insurance. I hope it
helps you in your decision.

c'y'all

Tom May
