I had towing coverage with Farmers for years but didn't need to use it.  The 
one time I lost a tire (It came off when the bearing froze, wrecking the 
spindle), I limped along on 3 wheels to an RV repair shop.  But this year, in a 
review of all our insurance programs, I changed carriers and then discovered that 
the new carrier had a $ limit on towing.  Since we live "out west" where 
distances are long between legitimate repair shops, I opted for Good Sam coverage 
on towing.  Gives piece of mind for a modest price, considering the 
alternatives.
