RE: [A/S] need suggestions of a towing vehicle

Julia - Welcome to Airstreams. The two possible tow vehicles you mention
are great SUV's (the Land Cruiser can be a great workhorse), but for
good towing safety you are going to need more wheelbase and muscle than
either of those SUV's can give you. Talk to your RV friends who pull
trailers, as opposed to those who pull 5th wheels or goosenecks, as
there is a lot of difference. You'll find lots of folks on this List who
pull the larger trailers really like 3/4 ton diesel trucks, many with
crew cabs (4 door). All the wheelbase and towing power you'll ever need.
