Carrying Your Registration

Chaz - I am curious why Texans don't carry their trailer registration with them?

I live in the far Northwest - so possibly I am missing an inside Texan joke
here...

But - for the benefit of newcomers to the list - and others who might take
things at face value - I'd question why you don't carry your trailer
registration with you at all times when traveling?

Why make things more difficult (potentially) when it's so simple to carry?

No one plans to have an accident or breakdown or break-in...but these things
can happen (just like a flat tire or other type of mechanical breakdown) - and
in the case of preparing for flats and breakdowns - most of us try
to "forecast" ahead - and be prepared as best we can - at least in our own
personal way(s).

So - why not have your registration with you - "just in case".

Once again - I have a feeling your sense of humor is at work here - and I
appreciate that - but for the benefit of those who are just getting started
with the hobby - it's my opinion that just like carrying your tow vehicle
registration and your proof of insurance - that you'd also carry your trailer
registration to simplify any "situations" that "might" arise.

Happy Trails. RL
