So if the damage to the compressor motor is due to running with low voltage, and 
low voltage is accompanied by a rise in amperage, then would a lower amp slow-trip
circuit breaker in the A/C circuit work as a low-tech voltage "barometer?" 
Wouldn't it trip when volt/amp ratio is wrong -- before the damage occurs?
