Hi Jeff,

Is the 30 amp extension cord plugged into a 30 amp service plug?  Or do you 
have it on an adapter and plugged into a regular 15 amp plug?

If it's in a 30 amp... it has nothing to do with the extension.... if it's in 
a 15 it could well be that.

It could have also just died of old age.
