Re: [A/S] Cork floor
A friend in Dallas has had cork floors in part of her house for years and
years. Damp mopped and waxed them regularly. After 30 or so years, she had
them sanded and refinished. Still are great looking and comfortable
underfoot.
We considered getting cork for our Colorado retreat house in the mountains,
but - someone told us that the glue would not be stable if the house was
allowed to become cold during the winter months, i.e., closed up and
unheated for several months.
Maybe glues have changed since then - it might be worth checking out the
details about the temperature range within which the specific glue remains
effective if your trailer will sit unused (cold) during the winter,
particularly in the northern or mountain states.
