The main differances in house hold and RV or Marine Apliances and many other  
non speclized equipmentis in most cases the decal on the front and alot of B 
S . I was around the marine service and boat building long enought to learn a 
little bit.In some cases house hold apliances will not fit in Like the AC unit 
so we have to pay through the nose for on it is not a damn bit better built 
than a Lowes or Home Depot one but it has to be packaged differntly to serve 
its perpose and is a somewhat liminited production.Probaly 500 window units to 1 
RV unit.Look at the differance in price and the profit margen to the 
manufacture. We used to put port-a-potties in several modles of our sail boats We 
could buy them from Wal Mart cheeper than we could buy marine units OEM.
