[A/S] water leak

Hi Listies,
We need help again and we're sure one of you knows what we should do.
We have a Thetford toilet with dual foot pedals.  Often when we flush, a few
drops of water will dribble on our flushing foot.  Reaching above the pedal
we can feel water running down the inside of the outer shell.  Any idea what
may be leaking and how to fix it?
