Yes, I see now - in spite of them calling it a "2000" model, that only 
refers to surge capacity. Checking the specs carefully, I see it is REALLY 
a 1600 watt unit - 13.3 amps, as you said.

One guy measured the draw of an air conditioner exactly like mine and it 
showed 15.5 amps. Probably jumps to 20 during start - probably too much of 
an overload to actually start and run it OK. You ever try it on just one 
generator to see what happens?
